About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Edit, review, and quality assure intelligence reports, investigations, and client deliverables
- Ensure written outputs are accurate, concise, consistent, and aligned to editorial standards
- Work closely with analysts to strengthen reporting clarity, structure, and impact
- Translate complex investigative findings into accessible and compelling narratives
- Review reports for factual accuracy, logical consistency, and evidential integrity
- Manage multiple deliverables and deadlines across varied projects
- Support development of reporting standards, templates, and style guides
- Provide editorial feedback, coaching, and guidance to analysts
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure outputs meet client requirements and expectations
- Support publication and dissemination of thought leadership, research, and investigative content
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in editing, reviewing, or commissioning analytical, investigative, journalistic, or intelligence focused content
- Exceptional written English, with outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience translating complex information into clear and engaging written products
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback
- Experience working to tight deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards
- An understanding of digital investigations, online harms, OSINT, misinformation, disinformation, or related fields
- A background in journalism, editing, communications, political science, intelligence analysis, research, or a related discipline
- Curious and critical thinker able to challenge assumptions while strengthening investigative work
- Experience in Trust & Safety and content moderation environments, particularly relating to online harms, highly advantageous
