Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with business stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements
Analyze existing business processes and recommend efficiency and effectiveness improvements
Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and system specifications
Collaborate with project managers, developers, quality assurance teams, and business partners throughout the project lifecycle
Support system implementation activities, including testing, validation, and deployment
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and solution design discussions
Evaluate system enhancements and identify process optimization opportunities
Create and maintain project documentation, business requirements, process maps, and training materials
Support projects using Waterfall, Agile, or Lean development methodologies
Provide ongoing analysis and support for business applications and system-related initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 years of business systems analysis or related experience
Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and system requirements
Experience supporting technology-related projects and business system implementations
Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and process documentation skills
Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile/Lean frameworks
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and cross-functional discussions
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and data analysis, strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
Experience supporting enterprise business systems and process improvement initiatives preferred
Professional certifications related to business analysis, Agile methodologies, or project delivery preferred
Experience within financial services, insurance, or a highly regulated industry preferred
