About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, edit and publish content for intranet (Indigo), enterprise newsletters, digital signage, employee emails and other internal channels.
- Maintain the enterprise editorial calendar and coordinate content inputs, reviews, approvals and publication.
- Support enterprise announcements, employee campaigns, leadership communications and All Company Town Hall content.
- Partner with teams across the company to gather information and develop clear, audience-focused communications.
- Draft key messages, FAQs, leader notes, Indigo articles and presentations.
- Track channel and content performance and support recurring communications reporting.
- Provide content and project support for executive, change, reputation, crisis and external communications as assigned.
- Contribute to team planning, cross-training and business continuity.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field required.
- 1-3 years of experience in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related experience preferred.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative approach and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Good judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Curiosity, learning agility and willingness to work across communications disciplines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with teammates, business partners and senior leaders.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Strong skills in Canva or another visual content creation platform preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Driven, proactive and goals-oriented.
- Experience with intranet publishing, newsletters, content management systems or employee communications preferred.
- Experience interpreting communications metrics and analytics preferred.
- Financial services or insurance industry experience is a plus.
