About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with employee lifecycle management, including secure provisioning and de-provisioning of system access, network access, and end-user equipment
Configure, provision, and de-provision employee laptops to security baselines
Maintain and update hardware and software asset inventories for licensing and compliance
Monitor and initially triage security alerts, logs, and dashboards for escalation to the Head of Security
Conduct initial assessment and triage of vulnerability scanning findings across applications and infrastructure
Assist with gathering, documenting, and organising evidence for SOC 2 Type I audits, ISO 27001 certification maintenance, and other compliance initiatives
Conduct initial security and data processing agreement reviews of third-party vendors, escalating risk findings
Serve as the internal point of contact for client security due diligence questionnaires
Assist with deployment, configuration, and integration of VPN, EDR, DLP, and MDM solutions
Support business units with secure software configuration and third-party integrations before go-live
Improve the efficiency of internal IT Security operations
Provide L1/L2 helpdesk support for password resets, access issues, and basic troubleshooting
Report to the Head of Security, Risk & Compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
Foundational understanding of core IT operations, networking concepts, and operating systems (macOS and Windows)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer service and empathy for end-users
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritise effectively, and maintain meticulous documentation
Proactive and self-motivated nature
Demonstrated, self-driven interest in cybersecurity, risk management, or regulatory compliance frameworks
Familiarity with AWS and its services
Familiarity with modern Identity Providers such as Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace is a plus
Ability to use AI tools to automate processes and repetitive tasks is a plus
Basic scripting skills, such as Python or PowerShell, are a plus
Must be able to work in the Dublin office at least two days per week
