About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead dedicated teams as a technical lead
Deliver complex projects pragmatically, meticulously, and cost-effectively
Develop websites and mobile apps for e-commerce, knowledge management, and sports
Independently lead architecture workshops and support clients with pitches
Take responsibility for feature specification, implementation, testing, and deployment
Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and provide strategic consulting
Develop and present slides and technical concepts for pitches
Lead projects end to end from an architectural perspective through deployment
Design new features with product managers and UX designers and implement them with the team
Build new topics and technologies hands-on in projects, such as e-commerce platforms, frameworks, or cloud providers
Support team members, provide regular feedback, and foster their growth through technical mentoring
Help shape development processes, particularly AI-assisted development
Estimate effort, monitor budgets, and support project management
Actively contribute to the continued development of the entire organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in web or app development
4+ years of experience as a Tech Lead or in the technical leadership of teams
Strong experience with React, as well as Node.js, Flutter, or Kotlin
Several years of experience taking technical responsibility for medium-sized projects (500+ person-days)
Experience with application architecture and building applications from scratch
Ability to lead projects holistically from a technical perspective
Fluent German and English
Willingness to take responsibility beyond your own work and learn new things
