About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help prepare and service facility and client needs for upcoming events
- Perform cashiering, ushering, security, and public-direction duties
- Assist with sanitizing and custodial operations
- Work with ushers
- Perform minor lifting and moving of programs, tables, and chairs as needed
- Adapt to various positions and fill in where needed
- Assist other staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience working with the public
- Experience with cash handling
- Any experience that demonstrates an ability to perform the essential duties
- Must successfully pass a drug screen if selected for hire
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check if selected for hire
- Ability to walk, sit, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs in dimly lit or dark areas
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work with crowds and in stressful situations
