Key responsibilities & impact

Build future operations platforms for the Investment Operations Technology Solutions Group
Partner with product owners, analysts, engineers, and business partners to deliver solutions to Global Investment Operations teams
Provide leadership on end-to-end solution delivery
Lead, mentor, and coach technical teams while implementing solutions to sophisticated business problems
Build and optimize technology solutions using Python, Java, SQL, and modern technologies
Build and maintain data integrations with third-party vendors, internal systems, and BlackRock Aladdin
Implement and integrate third-party tools for fit-for-purpose operations functions
Drive future-state operations solutions through automation, generative AI, and machine learning techniques
Deliver technology solutions across back- and middle-office functions

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer designing, developing, and operating applications and data
Proven experience in a senior technology/engineering role
In-depth understanding of the fixed income investment management domain
Strong knowledge of database design, data structures, and algorithms
Hands-on experience designing and coding applications using SQL, Python, Power BI, Java, and similar tools
Experience with cloud services such as Azure and AWS
Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and develop a team
Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams
