About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement modern, scalable UI architectures using React, TypeScript, and contemporary front-end patterns
Design, build, and maintain full-stack application solutions across React front ends, .NET backend services, and SQL/NoSQL data stores
Translate business and user requirements into technical solutions with product owners, UX designers, architects, and stakeholders
Establish and evolve application architecture standards, including UI components, state management, API integration, and data access patterns
Work with Infrastructure and DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, testing, deployments, and environment consistency
Ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability across application data layers
Architect and integrate front-end solutions with backend and platform services
Lead a small engineering team through technical direction, guidance, code reviews, and mentorship
Drive best practices and standards focused on security, compliance, performance, scalability, and reliability
Serve as a subject-matter expert and coach engineers on React, JavaScript/TypeScript, testing, and application design
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, design guidelines, coding standards, and operational playbooks
Collaborate with business and technology partners to deliver user-centric applications aligned with enterprise goals
Evaluate and adopt modern tools, frameworks, and patterns to improve productivity, performance, observability, and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
10+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong focus on enterprise-scale web applications and recent hands-on leadership in React-based front-end development
Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and contemporary front-end frameworks, patterns, and tooling
Familiarity with React.js and server-side rendering concepts, such as Next.js and nodejs
Experience developing or supporting SSR-based React applications integrated with backend services
Experience building UI using Microsoft Power Pages
Strong experience with .NET backend services, API design, integration patterns, security, and performance optimization
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including data models, queries, and integration patterns
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development, deployments, integrations, and production operations
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices using tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
Strong architectural skills covering UI component design, API interaction patterns, state management, and application layering
Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, conduct design and code reviews, and drive consistent engineering practices
Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Financial Services industry experience is preferred
Microsoft or cloud-related certifications are preferred but not required
