About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee software development projects from start to finish
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
- Architect, develop, and maintain software applications based on business and technical requirements
- Tackle complex technical challenges and improve software performance and functionality
- Participate in Daily SCRUM and make technical decisions
- Update SCRUM boards and tasks during workflow until marked “Done”
- Collaborate with other PSI teams to ensure software meets user needs and business goals
- Establish and oversee processes for documenting software development processes and code
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and incorporate new tools and techniques
- Collaborate with business analysts and engineers to provide appropriate technical solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in full-stack development
- Minimum 5 years developing software, preferably on a Microsoft platform
- Minimum 5 years of working experience with a DBMS such as SQL Server or similar
- Knowledge of networking and software-defined networking in cloud environments
- Experience with large-scale production systems
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting new or existing software
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or imaging CRO setting
