About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and manage a country-specific network of referring physicians across various therapeutic areas
- Ensure a smooth and effective referral process between referring physicians and study investigators
- Identify and select physicians
- Provide physicians with training and support throughout the referral process
- Plan and conduct regular visits to referring physicians in person and/or via video conference
- Document key discussions and objectives in reports
- Provide ongoing support to referring physicians and their teams
- Ensure agreed-upon tasks are executed accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Legal departments to implement the referral process across projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- College/University degree in Life Sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience
- Experience working in the clinical research industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
- Experience communicating with physicians and/or investigators required
- Oncology and/or Gastroenterology experience is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel, including frequent travel as required
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- PC skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be based in either the Chicago, Illinois area or the Los Angeles, California area
- Must not require a work visa for employment or continued employment now or anytime in the future
