Key responsibilities & impact

Lead complex client engagements to improve technology strategy, digital delivery and long-term capability
Advise senior decision-makers by translating technical challenges into clear options and practical recommendations
Grow technology consulting work through client relationships, opportunity identification, proposals and pitches
Shape Public Digital's technology and data consulting offer
Develop and support colleagues through leadership, coaching and growth opportunities
Work across technology, strategy, delivery and organisational change disciplines
Contribute to Public Digital's external voice through industry networks, events or publications
Champion sustainable change and help clients build internal capability
Help lead and grow technology and data consulting work specialising in the UK public sector
Support the direction of Public Digital's technology practice

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading complex technology, data or digital transformation in large or complex organisations
Experience advising and influencing senior leaders on complex technology and organisational challenges
Track record of developing client relationships, winning or growing work, and responsibility for commercial outcomes
Strong knowledge in at least one area such as engineering, architecture, cloud, platforms, cyber, AI or data
Understanding of how technology disciplines work together
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, developing others and working across different specialisms
Understanding of product-led approaches and agile delivery
Understanding of how organisations can build sustainable digital capability
Curiosity, sound judgement and a pragmatic approach to emerging technology
Commitment to delivering better outcomes for organisations and service users
Public sector experience valuable, but relevant experience from other complex environments considered
CV and short cover letter required
Must already have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available
