About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design, implementation, and execution of automated test frameworks for Public’s web platform
Define and drive the QA automation strategy across UI and REST layers
Design, implement, and maintain Grafana dashboards for QA automation metrics, test coverage, and execution trends
Oversee maintenance, scalability, and continuous improvement of automated test infrastructure
Mentor junior QA automation engineers and promote best practices
Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases
Review and approve test plans and test cases
Ensure regression coverage and coordinate regression testing for defects and new releases
Monitor test automation execution, analyze results, and provide quality metrics
Identify testing gaps and propose innovative testing methods, tools, and frameworks
Lead automation integration within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Ensure effective defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution
Drive improvements in test coverage, reliability, and execution performance
Contribute to release planning and quality-focused risk assessment

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
3+ years of experience in QA automation
Solid hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Selenium and RestAssured
Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and integrating automated tests into pipelines
Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Experience with REST APIs testing tools (e.g., Postman)
Experience with issue and project tracking tools (Jira and the Atlassian product stack)
Working knowledge of databases (SQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB) for backend validation
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage priorities, mentor team members, and drive quality ownership across teams
