About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and maintain Linux systems, with a focus on Red Hat
- Implement and maintain automation solutions using Ansible
- Troubleshoot and optimize systems, applications, and scripts
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings
- Configure and manage web servers including Nginx and Apache
- Manage source code using Git
- Perform log management
- Perform vulnerability scanning
- Ensure stability, reliability, and security of systems and applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues
- Write basic scripts in Python as required
- Work with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket for project management and collaboration
- Monitor systems using tools like Nagios or Zabbix
- Interact with REST APIs programmatically
Requirements
What you’ll need- More than 2 years of Development, DevOps or Operations experience
- Strong experience with Linux, especially Red Hat
- Deep proficiency in Ansible, with a focus on its configuration
- Strong understanding of web server technologies like Nginx and Apache
- Experience with source control systems like Git
- Experience with log management and SIEM solutions
- Knowledge of vulnerability management
- Basic proficiency in Python scripting
- Knowledge of Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform is a plus
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager is nice to have
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
