About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct remote clinical assessments and prescribing consultations
- Prescribe weight management treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and national guidelines
- Manage patient treatment plans and provide ongoing clinical support
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records within digital healthcare systems
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Complete training before supporting a remote prescribing service focused on weight management interventions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified Independent Prescriber with current professional registration
- Previous experience in digital or remote prescribing environments
- Experience prescribing GLP-1 weight management treatments is highly desirable
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
- Applications are not accepted from individuals residing in countries listed on the Red or Amber list of the Code of Practice for the International Recruitment of Health and Social Care Personnel in England
