About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead execution across PURE’s Member, Broker, Mobile, and emerging digital experiences from discovery and solution design through launch and success measurement
Partner with business and technology leaders to translate opportunities and member and broker needs into priorities and roadmaps
Monitor insurance technology, digital experience trends, and emerging capabilities
Balance innovation with business value, technical feasibility, and team capacity
Translate strategic priorities into delivery plans and manage scope, capacity, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs
Work with engineering teams to identify constraints and develop practical alternatives across scope, sequencing, technical approach, staffing, and partner capacity
Coordinate Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Data, Salesforce, Security, Infrastructure, and other IT partners
Lead execution across internal teams, external vendors, partners, and resources in multiple time zones
Provide leadership with visibility into portfolio health, priorities, risks, decisions, and options
Continuously improve delivery processes
Oversee software development efforts and partner with Engineering and Solution Architecture
Apply knowledge of SDLC, cloud architecture, APIs, integrations, and modern application development to identify gaps, dependencies, and risks
Operate across AWS, Azure, GitHub, CI/CD, React, Salesforce, Firebase, Flutter, APIs, and integrations
Connect technical decisions to delivery and business outcomes
Lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering trust, accountability, communication, and ownership

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience leading technology delivery, engineering execution, technical program management, digital transformation, or complex customer-facing digital initiatives
Oversight of multiple concurrent software development efforts
Track record of translating strategy into execution and managing delivery constraints across scope, sequencing, technical approach, staffing, and partner capacity
Strong knowledge of modern software development and the SDLC
Strong experience with AWS and modern cloud architecture
Familiarity with Azure, GitHub, React, APIs and integrations, Firebase, Flutter/mobile, Salesforce, CI/CD, and identity and access management
Experience driving execution across internal teams, external vendors or development partners, and distributed resources across multiple time zones
Strong business and digital acumen
Curiosity about insurance technology, digital experience trends, and emerging technologies
Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity, build alignment, and develop high-performing teams
Relevant technical certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus
Insurance or financial services experience is a plus
Ability to work onsite at one of the employer’s offices during the first week of employment
