About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and support cross-functional project teams through the store opening discovery process
Define workstreams, owners, scope, required people and capabilities, and estimated timing
Lead and support internal teams and franchise owners in developing project Statements/Scopes of Work
Schedule and facilitate project kick-offs and delivery meetings, including status meetings, working sessions, Steering meetings, and retrospectives
Create and manage day-to-day updates and changes to project plans, tasks, timelines, and milestones
Anticipate and track issues, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
Identify process improvement opportunities, regularly assess processes, and lead process improvement changes
Measure project timelines by type and collect data for regular reporting to functional teams
Ensure teams meet conditions of satisfaction and outcomes
Assist teams with transition to business-as-usual definition and implementation adoption
Apply waterfall or agile methodologies as determined by the working team
Collaborate with brand and shared service leaders and outside vendors
Partner with the project Business Owner to communicate and deliver project status and progress
Report directly to the Senior Store Opening, Project Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years project management experience managing medium to large-scale projects or programs
Strong Strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills
Comfortable dealing with uncertainty; demonstrated ability to create structure and prioritize work effectively
Ability to learn quickly and easily adapt to a dynamic work environment
Excellent collaboration, leadership, and communication
Must be comfortable and effective in influencing stakeholders at all levels in the organization
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to influence without authority, servant leadership mentality
Comfortable working in a fast paced, results oriented culture, across multiple franchise brands
Ability to build authentic working relationships amongst the team and with colleagues across functions
Flexible and adaptable; able to work and thrive in ambiguity
PMP and / or CAPM Certification preferred
Experience working in a franchise environment preferred
Experience in the fitness / beauty industry preferred
Experience or base knowledge in design and construction schedules
