About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design the platform architecture
- Build robust, scalable, fault-tolerant architecture using cloud-native technologies, microservices, and containers
- Lead, mentor, and manage the platform engineering team
- Manage and automate cloud provisioning
- Embed security best practices into platform design and processes
- Define and own the technical roadmap
- Provide self-service tools, automated CI/CD pipelines, and standardized workflows
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Work with compliance to meet GLI and UKGC technical standards
- Drive technical decisions for the platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE or platform engineering role
- At least 2 years in a leadership or senior capacity
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java
- Ability to design and build highly scalable, resilient, and distributed systems
- Understanding of information security principles and technical requirements of iGaming regulators
- Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in production environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Direct experience within B2B iGaming or another high-transactional, regulated industry
