About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise clients on family law matters with empathy and professionalism
- Develop legal strategies tailored to each client’s goals
- Represent clients in mediations, negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence
- Empower clients through education and clear communication
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to improve processes and client experience
- Maintain high-quality, cost-effective legal services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association
- 1–5+ years of legal experience
- Strong legal writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet and phone access
- Commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and client advocacy
- Preferred: Family law experience in Washington State
- Preferred: Experience with motions practice, mediation, collaborative law, trial preparation or litigation
- Preferred: Familiarity with court procedures in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties
- Preferred: Experience with Clio, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Adobe, Slack, and Apple-based systems
