About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a Subject Matter Expert for SAP Security and GRC
Manage multiple SAP GRC instances
Engage with third-party operational support teams
Manage features and functionality in the SAP GRC environment
Plan upgrades and new feature releases
Oversee key SOX controls for SAP GRC environments
Develop and implement SAP security across SAP modules including S/4HANA, EWM, FMS CAR, Fiori, BW, and ECC
Configure and manage SAP GRC Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management modules
Oversee user provisioning, deprovisioning, emergency access, and regular access reviews
Perform segregation-of-duties and critical-access analysis and manage GRC rulesets and mitigating controls
Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and J-SOX
Support internal and external auditors by providing evidence, running reports, and resolving audit issues
Monitor SAP systems, investigate security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and implement corrective actions
Provide technical guidance to business stakeholders and IT teams
Create technical documentation and standard operating procedures
Deliver security awareness training to users and internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or related field is required
Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in SAP Security and GRC
Hands-on experience in configuration and implementation across on-premise and cloud SAP landscapes
Knowledge of SAP security concepts, including roles, profiles, authorization objects, SU24, and PFCG
Proficiency in SAP GRC Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management modules
Experience with SAP ECC, SAP EWM, SAP S/4, and SAP RISE environments
Understanding of compliance frameworks and security auditing techniques
Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Communication skills and ability to translate complex technical security concepts into business-relevant language for non-technical stakeholders
