About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide outsourced accounting services to national and multinational corporations
Prepare statutory financial statements
Provide skilled accountants on secondment for clients with temporary resource needs
Perform bookkeeping and prepare periodic management accounts
Manage and control preparation of local statutory financial statements for cross-border clients
Advise on statutory accounting compliance requirements
Advise on improvements to the statutory financial statement cycle, including production, audit and filing
Supervise, develop and coach staff
Work with specialists and client teams on challenging assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need

ACA/ACCA Qualification (or an international equivalent)
Broad accounting/finance experience gained working within practice
Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting matters
Ability to work from first principles
Very good working knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS
Some awareness of US GAAP
IT literacy
Ideally, experience of accounting packages
Very good Excel spreadsheet skills
Highly professional attitude to providing quality service on challenging assignments in a deadline-driven environment
Flexibility in changing client environments
Strong supervisory skills
Ability to develop and coach staff
No work visa sponsorship available
