Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop AI-enabled software solutions supporting internal technology initiatives and digital transformation
  • Build scalable applications and services using programming languages, frameworks, and software engineering methods
  • Integrate machine learning tools, automate workflows, and support human review of model outputs
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, user stories, and functional specifications
  • Write, review, and refine code according to coding standards and application lifecycle practices
  • Test, debug, and troubleshoot software components
  • Evaluate data patterns and system behavior to improve solutions and inform implementation decisions
  • Contribute to API design, microservices development, and cloud-native enterprise architecture
  • Review junior team members' deliverables and provide technical guidance
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand priorities and clarify requirements
  • Travel up to 20%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least a Bachelor's degree, or, in lieu of a degree, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in Software Engineering for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum years of experience required
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Preference for study in Accounting, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Computer Systems Analysis, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Finance, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
  • AI engineering skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Experience applying machine learning methods to business problems and workflows
  • Experience using CI/CD, testing, and code review practices
  • Experience analyzing data to inform recommendations and technical decisions
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, mentor peers, and manage ambiguity
  • Must not require PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as set forth in PwC's policy
