About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design and delivery of cloud and network architecture work within PwC’s Advisory practice
  • Support cloud infrastructure design and deployment activities for client technology environments
  • Assist in implementing Amazon Web Services solutions across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization services
  • Configure and troubleshoot cloud network components, firewalls, routing, and connectivity issues
  • Contribute to cloud migration, platform integration, and infrastructure upgrade efforts
  • Collaborate on network design, deployment, and operational support for secure and scalable environments
  • Use cloud monitoring and troubleshooting tools to identify performance issues and support resolution efforts
  • Document technical findings, implementation steps, and service updates for project teams and client stakeholders
  • Apply platform engineering, IT operations, and infrastructure management concepts
  • Learn and apply architecture frameworks, service management practices, and cloud deployment methods in client-facing work
  • Participate in client engagements while developing technical knowledge and client relationships
  • Travel up to 80%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 year of experience hands-on with AWS core services in a production or client environment
  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering
  • At least one of the following: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
  • Master's of Science or an MBA is preferred
  • Working with containerized workloads using Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, or AWS Fargate
  • Monitoring applications and infrastructure using Amazon CloudWatch and third-party tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana
  • Using managed database services including Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, and Amazon DynamoDB
  • Applying AI-assisted development tools such as Amazon Q Developer, Amazon Kiro, Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, with disciplined review of generated code and infrastructure-as-code
  • Demonstrating AWS cloud infrastructure skills through coursework or internships
  • Supporting cloud networking, virtualization, or platform troubleshooting tasks
  • Applying active listening, communication, and teamwork in client settings
  • Learning AWS deployment tools and adapting to fast-paced project work
  • Must not require PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as set forth in the stated policy
