About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead discovery and current-state mapping of end-to-end client onboarding processes
  • Diagnose root causes, duplicated data capture, redundant reviews, hand-offs and control gaps
  • Prioritise redesign opportunities by value, effort and risk
  • Design future-state processes, user journeys and onboarding pathways
  • Define data capture, mapping, business rules and reporting requirements
  • Translate designs into business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Capture automation and AI opportunities for the Automation & Agentification Squad backlog
  • Support pilots, process testing and business validation
  • Prepare operating procedures, process documentation and transition materials
  • Plan and facilitate workshops, interviews and walkthroughs
  • Build relationships across client-facing, risk, compliance and operations teams
  • Partner with change managers to drive adoption

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end process optimisation or business process re-engineering in complex, multi-stakeholder organisations
  • Experience ideally in professional services or financial services
  • Strong current- and future-state process mapping skills, including BPMN, swimlanes, value stream and customer journey mapping
  • Demonstrated application of Lean, Six Sigma or similar methods
  • Experience with client onboarding and regulated risk processes, including AML/CTF/KYC/CDD, conflicts and independence
  • Ability to measure process performance and build a case for change using quantitative and qualitative evidence
  • Strong requirements elicitation and backlog refinement experience, including business rules, data mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Experience identifying automation and AI opportunities and working with technology teams
  • Skilled facilitator and effective communicator
  • Comfortable navigating Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments
  • Proficiency with Visio, Miro, Microsoft Whiteboard and Jira
  • Exposure to process mining tools such as Signavio or Celonis, or CRM/workflow platforms such as Salesforce, highly regarded
