About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver defined work packages within operations transformation projects
- Apply PwC methodologies, analytics, AI, and intelligent automation tools to design data-driven operational solutions
- Analyse operating models, processes, and operational performance to identify efficiency, productivity, and cost-reduction opportunities
- Produce client deliverables including analysis, process maps, presentations, recommendations, and business cases
- Build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
- Collaborate across teams, share insights, and support continuous learning
- Contribute to the development of PwC’s Operational Excellence practice
- Support and coach junior team members
- Contribute to proposals and client presentations through research, analysis, and development of Operational Excellence perspectives and value propositions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Open to SAs only
- Practical consulting experience or equivalent operational background across one or more core industries: Financial Services, Private Equity, Central and Local Government, Defence, and Energy & Utilities
- Exposure to operating model transformation, including operating model design, organisational effectiveness, service delivery models, or sourcing strategies
- Experience analysing operational processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, customer outcomes, and operational performance
- Experience transforming operational data into actionable insights, for example using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI
- Experience applying Operational Excellence and process improvement techniques
- Experience supporting teams to improve productivity and ways of working
- Experience contributing to cost reduction, productivity improvement, or business case development for operational transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including confidence working directly with client stakeholders and contributing to workshops, interviews, and working sessions
- Clear and articulate writing skills, with experience developing presentations, reports, and other client deliverables
- Interest in AI, intelligent automation, analytics, and emerging technologies
- Exposure to Lean, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies is desirable
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to personal growth and professional development
