Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics
  • Advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues related to deals and transformational business events
  • Set strategic direction and lead business development efforts
  • Make impactful decisions and oversee multiple projects
  • Maintain executive-level client relations
  • Cultivate potential in others and collaborate across the PwC Network
  • Lead strategic advisory services in capital markets, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and financial reporting solutions for complex transactions
  • Oversee development and implementation of financial models and transaction structures
  • Guide clients through IFRS conversions and GAAP financial reporting requirements
  • Utilize Alteryx and other automation platforms to enhance financial analysis and reporting processes
  • Identify market opportunities and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth
  • Mentor and develop future leaders within the team
  • Collaborate with executive-level clients to shape and direct client engagements
  • Promote technological advancements
  • Adhere to professional and technical standards, PwC's code of conduct, and independence requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 15 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
  • Must possess CA/CS/CFA/MBA Finance or an equivalent accounting or financial designation with a minimum of 15 years of experience
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
  • Proven experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, and capital markets
  • Experience may include IPOs, debt offerings, private placements, carve-outs, acquisitions, alliances/joint ventures, post-deal accounting, restructurings, restatements, bankruptcies, GAAP conversions, adoption of new standards, deadlines, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting
  • Proficiency with Alteryx for automation in capital market engagements
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Query, Power Pivot)
  • Alteryx, Power BI, and AI tools are desirable
