About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead federal partnership tax compliance workstreams for internal firm entities
- Manage team members through coaching, feedback, and performance oversight
- Review partnership tax calculations, allocations, and return workpapers for accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate preparation of tax filings, supporting schedules, and documentation for federal compliance deliverables
- Analyze financial data, tax accounting records, and transactional activity to identify reporting implications
- Apply tax research and regulatory knowledge to address filing positions and compliance requirements
- Monitor deadlines, workload distribution, and deliverable status across multiple compliance cycles
- Identify process improvements and use technology tools to streamline tax compliance activities
- Communicate findings, issue points, and status updates to leadership and other internal stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Federal tax compliance experience for partnership structures
- Experience developing team members through coaching and feedback
- Experience managing project planning, budgeting, and deliverable timelines
- Tax research, analysis, and return preparation skills
- Professional judgment and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 20%
