Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent)
  • Proven experience in financial control, accounting, audit or a related finance environment
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Ability to apply sound judgement in complex commercial and accounting situations
  • Experience reviewing and challenging financial performance, including revenue, costs, profit and loss, balance sheet and provision reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, governance requirements and reporting processes
  • Experience with month-end, year-end and audit activities
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to provide constructive challenge and translate technical concepts into practical insights
  • Highly organised and results-focused, with strong attention to detail, integrity and problem-solving skills
  • Experience coaching others and driving continuous improvement is advantageous
