About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Originate, shape, sell and deliver complex Finance transformation opportunities across Insurance and Asset & Wealth Management
- Lead senior client interactions from initial problem statement through solution architecture, mobilisation, delivery and value realisation
- Translate enterprise strategy and client business models into integrated Finance target operating models
- Lead agentic process re-engineering across Finance, defining controls, data, roles and governance
- Own Finance Solutions demand into the Data and AI ecosystem
- Develop Finance-specific propositions, reference architectures, use cases, assets and delivery patterns
- Lead multi-tower Finance Transformation programmes spanning R2R, P2P, O2C, Performance Management, Treasury and Tax
- Align Finance transformation with product, investments, actuarial, capital, risk, operations and technology change
- Originate and expand C-suite relationships and convert conversations into high-value programmes and revenue pools
- Orchestrate the wider PwC ecosystem while retaining accountability for Finance solution coherence and client outcomes
- Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, sponsorship, feedback and capability development
- Develop and industrialise Finance Solutions intellectual property, methods, assets and accelerators
Requirements
What you’ll need- Established Director-calibre Finance transformation leader from the external market
- Track record of creating and converting opportunities and leading senior client relationships from origination through delivery
- Strong Finance Business Architecture expertise across process, controls, technology, data and AI, organisation and workforce, and service delivery
- Demonstrable experience of Data and AI-enabled Finance transformation
- Understanding of the hyperscaler, data-platform and frontier-model ecosystem
- Experience with agentic process re-engineering and its impact on Finance processes, controls, data, roles and governance
- Deep knowledge across R2R, P2P, O2C, Performance Management, Treasury and Tax
- Deep sector knowledge across Insurance and Asset & Wealth Management
- Track record of shaping and leading complex, multi-tower Finance transformation programmes and delivering measurable client outcomes
- Strong commercial discipline around scope, economics, risk and value
- Proven people leadership experience, including building teams, developing future leaders, coaching and sponsoring talent
- Drive to build relationships, develop propositions and scale Finance Solutions across I&AWM
- Big Four or leading consulting experience combined with substantive industry experience ideally preferred
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally preferred
