About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead finance transformation workstreams improving financial operations, controls, and cost efficiency
- Manage client engagement planning, budgeting, timelines, and delivery across multiple project activities
- Guide teams in assessing financial processes and identifying opportunities for automation and process redesign
- Develop solutions for finance systems implementation, shared services, and operating model improvements
- Review deliverables across accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and financial reporting activities
- Leverage financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support decision-making and client recommendations
- Coach team members on accounting practices, internal controls, and transaction processing approaches
- Build relationships with client leaders to clarify needs, address issues, and navigate changing priorities
- Apply digital tooling and AI fluency to streamline work and improve operational performance
- Validate work against professional and technical standards and reinforce firm policies and independence requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant
- Finance transformation experience within client service settings
- Finance operations knowledge across order to cash and reporting
- Experience managing project planning, budgeting, and deliverable timelines
- Experience coaching teams through change, feedback, and performance development
- Experience utilizing technology and digital tooling to improve finance processes
- Ability to travel up to 60%
- PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery is generally not available
