About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support teams in conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
- Participate in analysis of financial statements to assess the financial health of potential investments
- Assist in preparing financial models to evaluate business valuations and investment opportunities
- Review business performance metrics to provide insights for strategic decision-making
- Contribute to developing financial forecasts for corporate finance planning
- Collaborate with team members to analyze earnings quality and working capital requirements
- Observe and learn from experienced financial due diligence professionals
- Apply financial statement analysis techniques to identify transaction risks and opportunities
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for client engagements

- Engage in assignments across deal strategy, diligence, execution, and post-deal value creation
- Perform basic tasks and conduct research while supporting project teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level; candidates are traditionally in their 3rd year of a 4-year degree program or 4th year of a 5-year program
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting & Technology, Management Information Systems & Accounting, Accounting and Business
- Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
- Preferred major GPA: 3.3
- Knowledge in financial due diligence and business valuations
- Financial modeling and forecasting skills
- Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions with a focus on earnings quality
- Ability to apply teamwork and communication skills in a dynamic advisory environment
- Up to 80% travel
