About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and embed consistent project management standards, governance frameworks and reporting across the Programmes team
  • Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, guidance and standard operating procedures
  • Coach and support colleagues in applying project management best practices
  • Lead priority projects and strategic initiatives from inception through implementation and business-as-usual adoption
  • Translate business requirements into project plans, deliverables, milestones and measurable outcomes
  • Monitor and manage risks, issues, dependencies, resources and budgets
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and accountability with internal teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders
  • Identify and implement process improvements, enhanced governance, technology and automation opportunities
  • Use data, feedback and lessons learned to evaluate outcomes, demonstrate benefits and support continuous improvement
  • Collaborate across Learning, Technology, Quality and Risk functions to deliver sustainable change and improve the learner experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end projects and multiple workstreams, with successful delivery outcomes in complex or ambiguous environments
  • Strong PMO, project planning and governance capability, including maintaining project plans, RAID logs, progress reporting and delivery controls
  • Experience using Smartsheet or comparable portfolio and project management tools to manage plans, dashboards and reporting
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across teams, challenge constructively and drive accountability for actions and deadlines
  • Experience leading continuous improvement, process change or technology adoption and embedding changes into business-as-usual operations
  • Experience creating, implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures, process documentation and associated controls
