About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead government contract consulting workstreams across regulatory risk and compliance engagements
- Guide teams in developing compliance strategies, control assessments, and remediation plans for public sector clients
- Manage project planning, budgeting, timelines, and deliverables for contract compliance reviews and advisory work
- Analyze regulatory requirements, contract provisions, and internal control structures to identify risk exposure
- Develop client deliverables summarizing findings, recommendations, and implementation steps for compliance programs
- Review technical work for accuracy, consistency, regulatory authority requirements, and firm standards
- Coach team members on compliance methodologies, reporting approaches, and case documentation practices
- Address issues with clients and stakeholders through clear communication, sound judgment, and timely escalation
- Identify opportunities to apply technology and data-driven methods to improve monitoring, reporting, and case support
- Motivate and develop team members, manage workstreams, shape project plans, guide compliance analysis, support client discussions, and deliver practical recommendations for government contracting matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Experience managing government contract consulting engagements across risk and compliance
- Experience coordinating project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
- Experience mentoring junior team members through review and feedback
- Ability to analyze system interactions across regulatory and operational components
- Ability to address client issues through difficult conversations and escalation
- Ability to uphold conduct, independence, and regulatory standards
- Travel requirements up to 80%
