About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead delivery of regulatory risk compliance solutions within the Risk and Compliance practice
- Lead large projects and guide teams through complex situations
- Oversee Appian design and delivery across multiple work streams
- Advise on process improvements and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Lead Appian development workstreams for regulatory risk and compliance initiatives across managed services engagements
- Design and configure Appian solutions supporting compliance workflows, case handling, and reporting
- Translate regulatory requirements into scalable process automation and application functionality
- Guide teams through solution design, build, test, and deployment activities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements, validate priorities, and align delivery outcomes with compliance objectives
- Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and workflow improvement opportunities
- Review technical delivery plans, manage dependencies, and resolve issues affecting project momentum
- Coach team members on Appian development methods, code quality, and delivery discipline
- Integrate compliance, governance, and risk monitoring capabilities into platform designs
- Communicate progress, risks, and solution impacts to senior stakeholders
- Configure Interactions Hub integrations, including systems such as SAP, DocuSign/Adobe Sign, Okta, and PeopleSoft
- Validate outcomes, incorporate feedback, and refine delivery approaches
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/BE)
- At least 12–15 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Expert understanding of Appian Objects including Data Store, Data Type, Record Type, Process Model, Process Report, Interface, Report, Site, Portal, Constant, Decision, Expression Rule, Translation Set, Connected System, Integration, Web API, Group, and Group Type
- Proficiency in SAIL forms design, process design, SQL and stored procedures/SQL databases, object-oriented programming, and Service Backed Records
- Proficiency in Appian UX guidelines and Appian plug-ins, including rules engines
- Appian Level 3 Certification required
- Ability to configure Interactions Hub based on defined user stories and business and functional requirements
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong client-facing skills
