About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review client tax data, financial statements, and supporting records to prepare and file tax returns
- Analyze tax law, regulatory updates, and client fact patterns to identify filing requirements and reporting implications
- Prepare tax workpapers, schedules, and draft submissions for asset and wealth management clients
- Interpret complex compliance issues and translate findings into clear recommendations for engagement teams
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and track deadlines across tax compliance engagements
- Apply tax research and accounting knowledge to support return positions and resolve technical questions
- Monitor data for inconsistencies, missing items, and potential filing risks before submission
- Support client communications by responding to information requests and clarifying documentation needs
- Guide junior team members on assigned tasks and review work for completeness and accuracy
- Contribute to process improvements that streamline tax compliance delivery and strengthen recurring engagement workflows
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
- Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Tax compliance experience supporting asset and wealth management clients
- Experience preparing tax returns, workpapers, and supporting documentation
- Experience analyzing tax data to inform insights and recommendations
- Experience using tax research tools and accounting practices
- Ability to anticipate client needs while managing multiple workstreams
- Ability to build client connections while guiding junior team members
- Up to 20% travel
- Must not require PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as set forth in PwC policy
