About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with client platform and network requirements
  • Analyze cloud and network architecture needs for secure, scalable, and reliable technology environments
  • Configure AWS services, cloud virtualization components, and infrastructure-as-a-service resources
  • Troubleshoot cloud, network, and platform issues and document root causes and resolution steps
  • Apply architecture frameworks and enterprise architecture concepts to infrastructure design decisions
  • Evaluate network security controls, firewall configurations, and access protocols
  • Support cloud migration activities by planning infrastructure changes and validating technical dependencies
  • Interpret client requirements and translate them into technical solutions across cloud and network deployments
  • Review junior team members' deliverables and provide technical feedback
  • Build client relationships through status updates, issue escalation, and ongoing technical support
  • Analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, mentor junior team members, and contribute to client engagement deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure, including time in a client-facing or consulting delivery role
  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering
  • At least one of the following: AWS Associate-, Professional-, or Specialty-level credentials, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Master's of Science or an MBA is preferred
  • Applying AWS security and advanced networking capabilities to support cloud solution design and implementation
  • Working with NoSQL and purpose-built AWS databases, including Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon ElastiCache, and Amazon Redshift
  • Demonstrating AWS cloud infrastructure design and deployment skills
  • Applying cloud troubleshooting across network and platform environments
  • Interpreting client needs within advisory delivery settings
  • Guiding junior team members through complex workstreams
