About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform EV to Equity bridge analysis, post-deal mechanisms, and disputes work
- Perform analytical procedures on accounting and financial data to support transaction value assessments
- Visualise insights using Excel and AI tools; training will be provided
- Interpret and critically review transaction legal documentation
- Evaluate completion accounts and locked box mechanisms, identifying value leakage or risk
- Identify areas requiring further investigation or potential price adjustments
- Manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Communicate with engagement teams to understand scope and expectations
- Present completed project deliverables
- Support engagement setup from initiation through completion
- Use workflow management and AI tools and accurately document work performed
- Participate in varied projects and collaborate across workstreams and teams
- Build relationships with team members and seek guidance, clarification, and feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Professional qualification of CA/MBA
- Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good accounting and financial concepts
- High level of attention to detail
- 2-3 years’ experience in analysing financial accounting information, for example in audit or FDD
- Awareness of business valuation concepts, including Enterprise Value vs. Equity Value
- Awareness of transaction mechanisms, including completion accounts vs. locked box
- Strong interest in mergers and acquisitions
- Knowledge of price adjustment mechanics, such as net debt and working capital
- Familiarity with valuation methods and transaction mechanisms such as completion accounts and locked box structures
- Ability to analyse complex financial data and legal documents with precision
- Ability to independently manage deliverables and maintain high quality under tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning
