About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze financial statements, cash flow trends, and working capital drivers for merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions
- Evaluate earnings quality, balance sheet items, and transaction risks across client engagements
- Develop findings from detailed financial reviews and translate them into clear client-team deliverables
- Manage assigned workstreams across deal diligence projects while balancing timelines, priorities, and shifting client needs
- Apply financial modeling, corporate finance, and valuation skills to transaction analysis and recommendations
- Use data analysis tools and accounting knowledge to identify trends, exceptions, and key business issues
- Build meaningful client connections and respond to differing viewpoints throughout engagements
- Guide junior team members by reviewing work, sharing feedback, and supporting technical development
- Uphold firm professional standards, independence requirements, and code of conduct expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance
- Financial due diligence experience across transactions and deal reviews
- Ability to interpret earnings quality, working capital, and financial statement trends
- Critical thinking applied to complex client situations and data
- Ability to develop client relationships while anticipating team and client needs
- Financial modeling, valuation, and analytical tools
- Ability to respond to feedback and mentor junior team members
- Compliance with firm professional standards, independence requirements, and code of conduct expectations
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
