About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop innovative finance solutions using low-code/no-code and related ETL technologies
- Design and build automated data pipelines using Power Query/Power Pivot
- Connect financial models to diverse data sources for real-time reporting and streamlined analysis
- Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and visualisations
- Lead the design and delivery of tailored financial models and analytical solutions for M&A, capital raises, and CFO support
- Provide model audit, assurance services, data analytics, and professional training
- Liaise with and nurture relationships with clients, team members, and the wider business
- Actively manage project risks, costs, and schedules
- Coach junior team members and manage projects within a supporting team environment
- Continuously learn and develop while innovating the team's work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience with Power Query/Power Pivot for data transformation, automation and integration into financial models
- Proficiency in Power BI for building interactive dashboards and delivering data-driven reporting
- Strong experience in financial modelling with large, complex datasets
- Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, finance, STEM subjects or a related discipline
- Understanding and interest in commercial issues facing businesses
- Passion for solving problems
- Completed or pursuing CFA or CA qualifications, or a Masters in a relevant field of study
- Ancillary financial modelling-specific courses such as FMI
- No work visa sponsorship available
