About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with colleagues across PwC to sell and deliver business-led, technology-enabled Finance Consulting projects
- Participate in and support workshops with key Finance stakeholders
- Deliver Finance Transformation engagements
- Support Finance technology tool implementations for Finance Operations, including SAP, Workday, Microsoft and Oracle
- Contribute to Finance Vision & Strategy and Target Operating Model design
- Assess and improve Finance processes supported by technology
- Support the engagement manager, director, and partner in managing engagement risk and project economics, including planning and budgeting
- Prepare deliverable content and ensure deliverables meet PwC and client expectations
- Participate in proposal development and contribute to proposal writing
- Help clients optimize finance functions, re-architect processes, implement technology, and deliver sustainable change
Requirements
What you’ll need- Professional Finance experience is an asset (e.g. Accounting, FP&A, Reporting & Analytics)
- Consulting or audit experience is an asset, especially within the “Big 4” firms
- MBA and/or a CPA designation is an asset
- Experience with ERP implementation initiatives and projects (e.g. SAP, Workday, Microsoft and Oracle) is an asset
- Working expertise or understanding in core Accounting areas, including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay
- Experience in process improvement or re-engineering initiatives and projects in core back office accounting areas
- Interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends
- Openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
- Must be available to work without visa sponsorship
- MBA and/or CPA designation are assets, not required
