About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze international tax compliance requirements for financial services clients and identify implications for cross-border structures
- Prepare and review tax returns, workpapers, and supporting documentation for multinational reporting obligations
- Research international tax laws, regulations, and treaty provisions
- Interpret financial data and entity structures for tax accounting, controlled foreign company, and global structuring matters
- Apply tax compliance tools and methodologies to organize deliverables, track deadlines, and manage assigned workstreams
- Coordinate with client teams to gather information, clarify issues, and advance filing and documentation activities
- Review junior team members' work and provide technical guidance
- Track changes in tax rules and adapt compliance processes to support client requests
- Build client connections and contribute to client service engagements
- Travel up to 20%
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
- Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Experience preparing international tax compliance for financial services clients
- Familiarity with controlled foreign companies, tax modeling, and tax research
- Client-focused communication across diverse perspectives and changing priorities
- Critical thinking to analyze complex tax concepts and data
- Mentoring junior team members while managing assigned workstreams
- Developing knowledge of firm tax guidance and independence requirements
- Ability to work with up to 20% travel
- Must not require PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, subject to the stated policy
