About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end organizational, talent and HR transformation initiatives aligned with clients’ strategies
  • Partner with PwC professionals on high-profile client engagements
  • Contribute to HR engagements covering HR strategy, payroll strategy and transformation, organization design, HR technology roadmaps and implementations, workforce planning, people analytics, job architecture, skills management, integrated talent management and AI in HR
  • Apply knowledge of future-of-work trends, job architecture and skills redesign to organizational initiatives
  • Apply knowledge of payroll technology, processes and operating models to improve payroll efficiency and effectiveness
  • Use AI in HR and Payroll experience to create products, accelerators and methodologies
  • Deliver insights based on research and assessments of AI’s influence on the evolving job landscape
  • Help manage engagement economics and ensure high-quality delivery
  • Participate in business development activities and identify opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Track people and change trends, share insights and contribute to thought leadership
  • Develop technical acumen across the team and PwC network
  • Work with public and private clients to build trust and deliver sustained outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Considerable years of relevant professional consulting experience delivering HR and Payroll transformation services across a variety of industries
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to HR and Payroll function transformation efforts in consulting or in-house HR/Payroll roles
  • Foundational understanding of job architecture, skills architecture, job leveling and rewards
  • Experience in one or more Workforce Transformation areas, including operating model and organization design; payroll process design, processing, technology implementation and operating model design; job architecture, job leveling, skills frameworks and job profiles; HR and Talent Intelligence systems and processes
  • Proposal development and support in business development efforts
  • Exposure to cloud-based HR/Payroll technology implementations
  • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to HR and talent-related topics
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and commitment to client service excellence
  • Ability to work productively and collaboratively in complex and evolving environments
  • Contribution to thought leadership or innovative HR and talent-management solutions
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
  • Have already obtained or have the ability to obtain federal government security clearance
