About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, test, and optimize cloud-native applications on Google Cloud across the full software development lifecycle
- Build cloud-native applications and generative AI solutions on Google Cloud
- Translate client requirements into technical designs for greenfield products and modernization efforts
- Develop and test AI-enabled features using Google Vertex AI, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation patterns
- Apply Python, LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, and LLMOps practices to create scalable engineering solutions
- Evaluate model performance, guardrails, and orchestration approaches
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to shape technical direction, clarify priorities, and adapt delivery plans
- Review code, design choices, and deliverables for engineering methods, security needs, and platform standards
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience
- Google Vertex AI and LLM APIs experience
- Python, LangChain, and LangGraph experience
- Experience building retrieval-augmented generation and vector database solutions
- Experience evaluating LLM guardrails, testing, and LLMOps practices
- Ability to translate client needs into cloud-native engineering work
- Ability to mentor junior team members through complex delivery tasks
- Ability to travel up to 80%
