About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead client-facing cloud infrastructure and operations work within PwC's Advisory practice
  • Lead cloud infrastructure and network architecture workstreams for AWS deployment initiatives across client environments
  • Design scalable cloud platforms, virtualization layers, and network connectivity models
  • Assess current-state infrastructure, identify architecture gaps, and translate findings into migration and modernization plans
  • Advise clients on AWS landing zones, cloud strategy, and infrastructure patterns
  • Direct implementation of cloud networking, firewall controls, access protocols, and security performance tuning
  • Apply architecture frameworks, enterprise integration concepts, and infrastructure design methods to solve cross-platform challenges
  • Guide teams through delivery issues, validate technical outcomes, and incorporate client feedback into solution design
  • Coach team members on cloud engineering methods, delivery planning, and operational discipline
  • Communicate progress, risks, and technical tradeoffs to client stakeholders and internal leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure delivery
  • 2 or more years leading AWS work at enterprise scale
  • Preference for study in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Engineering
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional preferred
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or relevant AWS Specialty certification
  • Master's of Science or an MBA preferred
  • Experience leveraging AWS partner programs and funding mechanisms, including MAP, Enterprise Discount Programs, and private pricing
  • Deep industry knowledge of cloud transformation strategies and solutions
  • AWS cloud infrastructure architecture across complex client environments
  • Cloud operations and platform engineering experience
  • Ability to craft client-ready messages and coach teams through ambiguity
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
  • Must not require, now or in the future, PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as set forth in PwC policy
