About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish credibility and relationships with prospective clients
Demonstrate technical and industry knowledge and identify opportunities for assistance
Liaise with client project teams and manage expectations throughout engagements
Manage PwC project teams to meet quality standards and delivery timelines
Provide thought leadership and direction for the cyber risk management practice
Collaborate with PwC colleagues across practice areas to support client cyber risk management needs
Drive development of firm intellectual property, including toolkits, methodologies and accelerators
Assist with proposals, engagement letters and statements of work
Develop cyber risk strategies and identify cyber risks
Develop and maintain cyber risk management and reporting frameworks
Conduct cyber risk assessments
Develop and deliver comprehensive risk reports
Perform cyber threat modelling and business impact analyses
Manage cyber risk using GRC platforms
Develop KRIs and determine measurement and reporting approaches
Collaborate with client stakeholders to facilitate cyber risk analysis and informed decision-making
Ensure risk-based management decisions align with applicable laws and regulations
Travel as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or Business
Technical designations such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA preferred
Firm understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, SANS and ISO
Ability to translate cybersecurity frameworks into practical client advice
Business and technical capabilities
Ability to communicate current cyber risk issues to senior executives
Ability to design and deliver cybersecurity strategies, operating models, assessments and reports meeting Canadian, US and global regulatory requirements
Leadership qualities and ability to act as a subject matter expert on cyber risk
Ability to identify cyber risk management opportunities and propose solutions
Clear, articulate and confident written and verbal communication skills
Presentation and report writing skills
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to develop and manage mid-level relationships
Facilitation and delivery skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholder expectations
Minimum of 8+ years in cybersecurity, focused on cyber risk management activities
Experience developing cyber risk strategies and registers
Experience developing and maintaining cyber risk management and reporting frameworks
Experience conducting cyber risk assessments
Experience developing and delivering comprehensive risk reports
Experience performing cyber threat modelling and business impact analyses
Experience managing cyber risk using GRC platforms
Experience developing KRIs and determining how to measure and report them
Ability to collaborate with client business stakeholders on cyber risk analysis and decision-making
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
