About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead complex Operational Excellence and operations transformation engagements across Banking, Insurance and Asset & Wealth Management
- Advise clients on operational challenges across Operations Strategy, Productivity and Cost Optimisation, Operating Model Design, Managed Services and Operational Transformation
- Lead the design and implementation of operating model and transformation initiatives across process, organisation, technology and ways of working
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and shape solutions, business cases and transformation roadmaps
- Lead multidisciplinary consulting teams and maintain high delivery standards
- Coach Managers, Senior Associates and junior consultants through feedback and on-the-job learning
- Lead and support business development activities, including identifying client needs, shaping propositions, developing proposals and supporting client pitches
- Maintain commercial, quality and risk management discipline
- Monitor developments in Financial Services and Operational Excellence, including operating models, productivity, managed services, AI and automation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong consulting experience, or equivalent senior industry experience, delivering operational or business transformation within Financial Services
- Deeper knowledge of the operating environment and value chain in at least one of Banking, Insurance or Asset & Wealth Management
- Experience leading client engagements or transformation initiatives, with responsibility for delivery, senior stakeholder engagement and team leadership
- Strong expertise and delivery experience in one or more areas of Operational Excellence, including Operational Transformation, Operations Strategy, Productivity and Cost Optimisation, Operating Model Design, Managed Services or process transformation
- Experience translating strategy into practical and sustainable operational change
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Strong client relationship and business development experience
- Strong commercial and engagement leadership capability, including managing teams, resourcing, delivery risk and engagement economics
- Understanding of how data, analytics, AI, automation and emerging technologies can be applied to improve operational performance
- Experience in sourcing strategy, outsourcing, managed services or alternative service-delivery models would be advantageous but is not essential
- Available for work visa sponsorship
