About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise multinational financial services clients on cross-border tax structuring, transaction planning, and global entity footprint design
- Analyze international tax law, treaty positions, and local country rules to identify exposures, planning opportunities, and compliance requirements
- Develop technical positions on controlled foreign company rules, foreign tax credits, base erosion and profit shifting considerations, and domestic restructuring matters
- Guide tax modeling, provision review, and documentation efforts for complex international structures and transactions
- Direct project workstreams across client teams, technical specialists, and internal stakeholders
- Review tax research, memos, and disclosures for technical accuracy and alignment with firm guidance and independence requirements
- Coach managers and staff through complex assignments, provide feedback, and address team-effectiveness issues
- Communicate actionable recommendations to client leaders and internal stakeholders on tax risk, compliance, and structuring decisions
- Travel up to 20%
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Experience advising on international tax planning for financial services clients
- Experience with global structuring and tax modeling
- Knowledge of BEPS, FTC, and controlled foreign companies
- Ability to craft clear client messages and storytelling across complex issues
- Ability to coach teams through ambiguity and resolve work blockers
- Knowledge of tax guidance, conduct, and independence requirements
- Must not require, now or in the future, PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as set forth in the stated policy
