About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead client support work within the Tax Services practice
  • Help clients refine tax reporting strategies, interpret tax requirements, and manage compliance-focused deliverables
  • Motivate and develop teams and coach team members on their work
  • Own planning, execution, and issue resolution across client engagements
  • Lead tax transformation workstreams focused on reporting strategy, compliance, and process improvement
  • Manage client-facing project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables across multiple engagements
  • Advise on tax accounting, tax reporting, and financial statement analysis
  • Review financial data and tax documentation to identify risks, inconsistencies, and reporting opportunities
  • Guide teams in developing tax return, tax governance, and tax research processes aligned with applicable regulations
  • Coach team members on technical tax work, review feedback, and analytical skills
  • Apply digital tooling and AI-enabled methods to improve workflow efficiency and data interpretation
  • Coordinate with finance and tax stakeholders to translate regulatory changes into practical reporting actions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 years of experience
  • At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
  • Ability to lead tax operations transformation work across client engagements
  • Experience leveraging technology and innovation to streamline tax reporting workflows
  • Ability to coach teams through planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery
  • Ability to translate tax system interactions into actionable operational insights
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and review work
  • Ability to navigate client conversations, issues, and escalation moments
  • Knowledge of tax governance, compliance, and independence requirements
  • Up to 40% travel
