About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of technology, AI, data and third-party risk assessments across an allocated portfolio
  • Ensure work is completed consistently, to a high standard and within agreed timescales
  • Coordinate workloads and priorities across a portfolio
  • Provide coaching, feedback and day-to-day support to colleagues
  • Undertake and quality-review a variety of risk assessments
  • Apply the firm’s risk framework consistently
  • Escalate significant, novel or contentious matters to the Senior Manager where appropriate
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across Risk Management, OGC and the business
  • Provide clear and practical risk advice and manage expectations throughout the assessment process
  • Identify recurring issues, propose practical solutions and support updates to frameworks, tools and guidance
  • Report to a Senior Manager as part of a team of risk professionals assessing technology, AI, data and third-party risks across the firm

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant experience in risk management, technology risk, data risk, AI risk, third-party risk or a related discipline
  • Practical experience delivering in risk management, technology risk, data risk, AI risk or third-party risk
  • Background and understanding of Technology, AI and/or Data
  • Project Management experience coordinating work and supporting or coaching colleagues
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain focus on quality, timeliness and outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders and knowing when to seek senior input or escalate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex risk matters clearly, concisely and pragmatically
  • Ability to balance commercial objectives, risk management requirements and operational delivery
  • Sound judgement, resilience and a practical approach
