About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and execution of automation testing strategies for system integration and regression testing
- Identify and resolve complex testing challenges within banking and capital markets
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships for effective communication and feedback
- Develop and oversee quality assurance testing processes to validate software performance and functionality
- Promote innovative testing methodologies and tools
- Confirm data integrity and compliance within testing frameworks
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes and improve project outcomes
- Lead the offshore automation testing pod for SIT and regression on the Systematics wave
- Manage a team of automation testers
- Oversee test script development and execution in the automation framework
- Track defect discovery rates
- Coordinate execution schedules with the onshore Test Analyst Lead
- Lead teams, manage client accounts, conduct strategic planning, mentor junior staff, and manage performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9+ years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Experience with test automation framework management using Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber
- Experience with offshore pod leadership and sprint coordination
- Experience with banking SIT and regression test execution
- Experience with defect reporting and root-cause triage
- Experience with JIRA/qTest test management
- Experience utilizing automation testing methodologies for systematics
- Experience in regression testing and quality assurance practices
