About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure systems, networks and cyber engineering support and guidance to engineering, maintenance and operations teams across the px portfolio
Support implementation of systems, networks and cyber security strategies within the group
Provide tactical advice to sites on cyber security, control systems management and engineering systems management
Manage emergent work and longer-term planned engineering issues across the px portfolio
Support the NIS Responsible Officer in their duties
Support Cyber Assessment Framework submissions to UK regulatory authorities for Critical National Infrastructure
Support asset lifecycle management while ensuring compliance with industry standards, corporate and site policies and procedures
Lead and manage small projects through the Management of Change process, from conceptual design through completion, including budget and resourcing management
Report to the Technical and Project Support Team Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

HND or Degree in Systems, Cyber, Electrical and/or Instrumentation (or similar) Engineering, or equivalent
Demonstratable experience of successful contribution in a 24/7 industrial environment; COMAH experience preferred
Ability to work cross-functionally, individually and in a team delivering policies, initiatives and compliance to meet business requirements
Experience developing, implementing and evaluating systems, upgrades, improvements and modifications
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and contractors
Understanding of Management of Change processes
